Baby dinosaurs, just like baby animals today, were the young ones of dinosaur species. They hatched from eggs, just like birds do now. Imagine a big egg, and when it cracks open, out comes a tiny dinosaur, all small and cute!
Some baby dinosaurs, like the ones from the Triceratops family, would have had little horns and a little frill when they were born. They would grow bigger and stronger as they got older.
Others, like baby T-Rex, were probably very active even when they were very young. They would have learned how to hunt and run really fast as they grew up.
Baby dinosaurs needed a lot of care from their parents. Just like your mommy and daddy take care of you, dinosaur parents would have protected their babies and taught them how to survive in their world.
Now, baby dinosaurs aren't around anymore, but we can still learn about them and imagine what it would be like to see one. We can read books, watch movies, and even visit museums to see their fossils.
So next time you're playing or learning about dinosaurs, remember to think about the little ones too—the baby dinosaurs that roamed the Earth long, long ago!
