Wild carrot seeds found in Switzerland and southern Germany date back to 2000-3000 BC. In case you didn't know, the wild carrot was originally cultivated only as a medicinal plant, with humans utilizing its leaves and seeds rather than consuming the root.
While the carrots of origin are red, the orange "carrots" we see most often today were bred by the Dutch and were the same color as the original Dutch flag.

Step 1 Draw the stems of this carrot.
Step 2 Continue to draw the stems of this carrot.
Step 3 Outline this carrot. It is roughly oval in shape.
Step 4 On this carrot, draw lines near the stems.
Step 5 Draw a root wad on the left side of this carrot.
Step 6 Add lines to this carrot to give it texture.
Step 7 Finally simply color this cute carrot.
