Cheetahs are the fastest land animals on Earth. They can run as fast as 60 to 70 miles per hour! Imagine how fast that is, it's like running from one end of a football field to the other in just a few seconds.
They have a beautiful coat with black spots all over. These spots help them hide in the grass when they are hunting for food. Did you know cheetahs have a very long tail? It's used for balance when they are running really fast.
They have strong and long legs that help them to leap and run quickly. Their back legs are even longer than their front legs, which is why they can run so fast.
Cheetahs are great hunters. They can chase down their prey like gazelles and antelopes because they are so fast.
Cheetahs like to live in groups with their family. The moms take care of the little ones and teach them how to survive.
Sadly, cheetahs are not very common anymore. They need our help to protect their homes and make sure they can keep running free. A tutorial on how to draw a cheetah, if you like it, learn to draw it together with us!
