Every year, as soon as December rolls around, churches, shopping malls and stores around the world put up Christmas trees and wreaths filled with gifts and colored lights to welcome the holiday season.
Does a Christmas tree have to be a pine tree? Not really. Usually, as long as the following conditions are met can be used as a Christmas tree:
First, it is an evergreen species, second, the tree shape is inverted triangle, and third, it is a needle leaf. Secondly, it is best to choose a species of tree that is available in your area, so that it is easy to get wood locally.
The most traditional Christmas tree is the fir tree, Hans Christian Andersen once wrote a fairy tale "The Fir Tree", which describes a fir tree that wants to become a Christmas tree.
