The symbol of the fox is ubiquitous in human society, and foxes have been present in human culture since long ago. When it comes to foxes, many people have a bad image of them as cunning, tricky and mean.
Foxes have a keen sense of hearing and are cautious. Did you know? Before crossing the river in winter, foxes should listen carefully to the sound of water under the ice, to make sure that strong enough before they dare to go over. People know this habit of the fox, and wait for the fox to cross before people go.
Probably the most famous story about a fox is the Fox and the Grapes in Aesop's Fables. Other than that, a familiar one is the story of the fox and The Little Prince. The fox in this story is a wise man who not only teaches the little prince a lot of truths, but also does not care about his own gains and losses.
Foxes generally live alone. They usually come out at night and sleep hidden in their holes during the day, and their long tails serve to protect them from moisture and keep them warm. They are good at swimming and climbing trees.
