The title of knight has always been very resounding. This is due to the fact that there are many medieval European epics and recent modern novels based on knights. One of the most famous of these is Cervantes' Don Quixote.
We often hear a lot about knights, but we do not understand what kind of name they were called. Is it true that in the Middle Ages, a warrior on horseback was a knight? Can a European soldier on horseback today also be called a "knight"?
In medieval Europe lived tens of thousands of lords of the manor and military nobles, some of whom often called themselves knights as well.
To become a knight, one had to go through an elaborate training program that included learning various military skills and an elegant lifestyle. Young men were called "squires" from the age of 14 until they were formally knighted.
Today's drawing tutorial will take us through how to draw an ancient knight. He is wearing magnificent armor, holding a shield and a spear, and is riding on a horse that seems to be attending some kind of celebration.
