Hey kids! Do you know what a horse is? A horse is a big animal. It has a long body and strong legs. Horses can run very fast. They have beautiful manes and tails. Their manes are the hair on their necks, and their tails are the hair at the back of their bodies.
Horses come in many colors. Some are brown, some are black, and some are white. They have big eyes and can see very well. Horses eat grass and hay. They like to eat a lot!
Horses are very friendly. They can be our friends. Some people ride horses. Riding a horse is fun. Horses can take us for a ride in the countryside. They are strong and can carry us for a long time.
Horses also help people do work. They can pull heavy things like carts. In the past, horses were very important for people. They helped people travel and do many jobs.
Horses need to live in a place called a stable. A stable is like a house for horses. It keeps them safe and warm. Horses need to rest and sleep in the stable too.
