Have you ever been to the beach and found a seashell? Seashells are like tiny treasures that the ocean leaves behind for us to find. They come in all sorts of colors and shapes, and they're made by some of the ocean's smallest and coolest creatures.
You know how you have a home to live in? Well, some sea animals, like clams and snails, have homes too, and those homes are called shells.
These animals are known as mollusks. They make their shells from a special material in their bodies, kind of like how your body grows bones.
When these sea animals are done with their shells, or sometimes if they get too big for them, they leave them behind in the ocean. Then, the waves and the sand help to polish these shells, making them smooth and pretty. That's how we find them on the beach!
Seashells can be used for many things. Some people collect them to remember their beach trips, or they might use them for crafts, like making a picture frame or a wind chime.
They're also a great reminder of the wonderful world that lives under the sea. In today's drawing tutorial, we are going to learn how to draw a sea shell on the beach, so if you like it, follow the instructions and try to draw it!
