A snow leopard is a big cat that lives in the mountains of Central and South Asia. They are very beautiful and have special fur that helps them hide in the snow. Their fur is white or grey with dark spots called rosettes.

These spots help them blend in with the rocks and snow. Snow leopards have long tails that help them keep their balance when they walk on rocks and snow. They also use their tails to keep warm when they sleep.

Snow leopards are not very big compared to other big cats like lions and tigers, but they are still strong. They can weigh between 60 and 120 pounds and be as long as 6 to 7.5 feet, including their tails. They have thick fur to keep them warm in the cold mountains. Their paws are wide and furry, which helps them walk on snow without sinking.

Snow leopards live high in the mountains, sometimes as high as 18,000 feet. They are most active in the early morning and late afternoon. They like to hunt animals like wild sheep, goats, and small mammals like rats and hares. They are very good at jumping and can jump up to 50 feet!
