When winter says goodbye and spring comes dancing in, the trees outside your window start to wake up from their long, cold nap. They begin to change their clothes from the dull brown of winter to the bright, cheerful colors of spring.
Did you know that trees have tiny, magical seeds called buds? In spring, these buds start to grow and turn into beautiful flowers. Some trees, like cherry blossoms, have pink flowers that look like a soft, fluffy cloud. Others might have white or yellow flowers that smell so sweet, they attract bees and butterflies to come and play.
Along with flowers, trees also start to grow new leaves in spring. These leaves are like the tree's green hair, and they help the tree breathe and make food from the sun's energy. When the leaves first come out, they're small and tender, like the soft tips of your fingers. But as spring goes on, they grow bigger and stronger, turning into the full, lush canopy that gives us cool shade in the summer.
Spring trees are not just pretty to look at; they're also important homes for lots of animals. Birds build their nests in the branches and sing happy songs to welcome the new season. Squirrels and other animals might also make their homes in the trees, playing hide-and-seek among the leaves.
Spring is a time of growth and change. Just like how you grow taller and learn new things, trees are also growing and changing in the spring. They're getting ready for the warm, sunny days of summer, and they're doing it with a big, beautiful show of color and life.
They're full of life, growing, and changing just like you. They're a part of the amazing world of nature, and they're there for you to enjoy and explore. In today's drawing tutorial, we're going to follow step-by-step instructions to learn how to draw a spring tree, so give it a try!
