Starfish are slow-moving, but they are killers of mollusks in the ocean. The starfish's mouth is on the underside of its body. Its digestive system consists of two stomachs, one of which shoots out from inside the body and wraps around and digests food outside the body.
This amazing ability of the starfish allows it to eat animals much larger than its mouth, including a variety of shellfish and sea cucumbers, arthropods and small fish.
In addition, starfish are among the animals that can regenerate quickly. If one of its wrists breaks off, a new one grows back after a while. Moreover, a few of the starfish's severed wrists grow into a starfish themselves, much like earthworms, lizards, lobsters, and snails.
What's more interesting is that sometimes the starfish will intentionally throw off its wrist and take advantage of the enemy's daze to make a quick escape.
Starfish are full of "monitors", many tiny crystals grow on the starfish's skin, and each crystal functions as an eye, capturing important information about its surroundings.
