Tarsiers are a precious and very small-sized monkey species that is rare and endangered. They are mainly found in Southeast Asia, such as the Philippines and Sumatra.
The tarsier appeared 60 million years ago and is the smallest known monkey species in the world, measuring only four or five inches in length and weighing only about 0.3 pounds.
Tarsiers live in dense forests in tropical and subtropical regions. They sleep during the day and are active at night, living in the trees all their lives and never coming down to the ground.
Their uniqueness lies in their eyes - two large, round eyes on a tiny face. Its hearing is acute and its neck can rotate almost 360°. They mainly hunt insects, but also eat small lizards.
In today's drawing tutorial we are going to learn how to draw a tarsier that is climbing a tree and looking at us with curiosity, what a cute little monkey!
When drawing this tarsier, you need to be careful to draw its eyes very big, which is its most iconic feature. The rest is not much different from a normal monkey.
