Forests are the lifeblood of our world, and without them, life on Earth would be deprived of the basic guarantees of extraordinary survival.
Trees provide the Earth with services such as carbon storage, soil protection and regulation of the water cycle, support the food systems of nature and humankind and provide the material on which countless species, including us, build their homes.
Yet, we are not protecting the trees we depend on. One study shows that we have cut down nearly half of the world's trees (about 5.8 trillion) since humans began practicing agriculture about 12,000 years ago.
The vast majority of deforestation has occurred in recent times. Since the beginning of the industrial era, the world's forests have been reduced by 32 per cent, particularly in the tropics.
In the following drawing tutorial, we are going to learn how to draw a big lush tree together. This should be spring or summer, so all of its leaves are still green. If you want a fall tree, try changing the color of the crown.
Start by drawing the crown of this tree and then draw its thick trunk. If you are interested in this tree, follow the instructions below to try drawing it!
