A truck is a big car. It's much bigger than the cars we usually see. Trucks have many wheels. Most trucks have 6, 8, or even more wheels. This helps them carry heavy things.

Trucks come in different sizes. Some trucks are small, like a pickup truck. Pickup trucks have a small open space in the back. We can put things like tools, bags, or even a small pet in the back of a pickup truck.

Big trucks are called semi-trucks or tractor-trailers. They have a big part in the front called the cab. The driver sits in the cab. The cab has a bed for the driver to sleep in when they are on long trips. Behind the cab is a big trailer. The trailer can be very long, sometimes as long as a school bus or even longer.

The trailer can be different shapes. Some trailers are like big boxes. They can carry things like toys, clothes, and food. Other trailers are open on the sides. They can carry big things like logs, pipes, or even cars.

Trucks have lights on the front and back. The lights on the front are called headlights. They help the driver see at night. The lights on the back are called taillights. They help other drivers see the truck when it's dark.

Trucks are very strong. They can carry thousands of pounds of things. They help move things from one place to another. Without trucks, we wouldn't have many of the things we need and use every day. Step 1 Outline the front end of the truck.

Step 2 Draw one of this truck's windows, door handles and headlights.

Step 3 Outline the compartment of this truck.

Step 4 Draw two long ovals on the carriage.

Step 5 Continue to draw long ovals on the carriage.

Step 6 Draw the chassis of this truck.

Step 7 Draw one of the front wheels of this truck.

Step 8 Draw one of the rear wheels of this truck.

Step 9 Finally color this truck that we have already drawn.
