The owl is one of nature's amazing birds, its body structure is nothing short of a natural myth. It flies silently, making it a superb hunter at night.
The owl can still see in the dark light of night and can detect very faint light, something no other animal can do at all. Its eyesight is 3-10 times better than that of humans.
The owl's greatest specialty is its extremely acute sense of hearing, which helps to compensate for the lack of vision in the absence of moonlight. An owl's sense of hearing is 5-10 times more sensitive than that of a human.
Owls also have a well-developed vocal system. In order to communicate over long distances at night, they chirp more often than predatory birds that hunt during the day, so they are always hooting throughout the year.
I don't know if you've ever felt this way - the hooting of an owl doesn't sound like a bird at all, and tends to create creepy heart-stopping thrills in open fields and dark forests.
And today in our drawing tutorial, we are going to learn how to draw an owl. It breaks the usual image we have of owls, it's very pretty and cute, and at the moment it's resting on a branch as if it's sunbathing and enjoying a good time!
