Daffy Duck first appeared in the 1937 movie Porky's Duck Hunt, and like Bugs Bunny, he was one of the first cartoon stars to be portrayed as crazy.
In that movie, Piglet shoots Daffy Duck (it wasn't called that at the time) on a lake, and then has his hound swim over to get Daffy Duck back. It turned out to be Daffy Duck with the hound in his mouth!
Later, these Disney cartoon stars such as Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck and Woody changed their personalities. Although they kept their initial neuroses to some extent, their personalities were much more complex, and they obviously strengthened the logic of their behavior and were no longer purely insane. This is why they continue to remain so popular.
The following drawing tutorial will take us through how to draw Daffy Duck. His form is a bit complex and you need to concentrate to not miss or get some details wrong. Follow the step by step instructions and try it out!
