In today's drawing tutorial, we are going to learn how to draw cute Elmo. He is a playful 3 year old boy monster who is very naggy, likes to refer to himself by his name, and yells "ELMO WANTS TO PLAY" all day long.

Elmo has long red hair, loves to play with his buddies Zoe and Grover, enjoys riding his three-wheeled bicycle and tickling, and has a goldfish pet. Elmo's buddies say his adorable giggles are especially contagious.

Elmo was warm, friendly, cheerful and always enjoyed being a part of everything. Sometimes Elmo doesn't know how to do what he wants to do, but that doesn't discourage Elmo, who looks at himself and life optimistically!

INSTRUCTIONS:

How to Draw Elmo Step by Step

Step 1 Get Elmo's eyes and nose by drawing circles.

Step 2 Outline Elmo's head.

Step 3 Below the nose, draw Elmo's big mouth.

Step 4 Below the head, draw Elmo's little body.

Step 5 Draw one of Elmo's arms on the left side of the body.

Step 6 Draw his other arm on the right side of his body.

Step 7 Draw one of Elmo's legs underneath the body.

Step 8 Draw Elmo's other leg. They are symmetrical.

Step 9 Simply color in Elmo at the end and you've got him!
