Monkey D. Luffy is the main character of the popular Japanese manga ONE PIECE. The manga has not only been made into an animated series, but a live-action movie is coming soon!

Luffy is around 18 years old. He is positive and optimistic, values his partners and friends, and is super interested in anything adventure related.

Although Luffy's identity in the manga is that of a pirate, unlike other traditional pirates, he doesn't kill in pursuit of wealth, but rather enjoys the adventure and freedom of being a pirate.

In today's drawing tutorial, we're going to try to draw Luffy, the manga character that is famous and loved by many people all over the world.

We are going to start with Luffy's head, then his arms, body and legs, and finish with his straw hat.

I would say it's not an easy thing to draw this anime character. You need to put in more time and effort than usual. If you like him make an effort to try!

INSTRUCTIONS:

How to Draw Monkey D. Luffy Step by Step

Step 1 Draw the hair of Luffy. His hair is a mess.

Step 2 Outline the head of Luffy. Then add his ears.

Step 3 Add eyebrows, eyes, nose and big mouth to Luffy's face.

Step 4 Draw a fist first on the left side of the head. Then add the arm and sleeve.

Step 5 Do the same on the right side of the head. Draw Luffy's other arm.

Step 6 In the center of the jacket, draw Luffy's body and belt. Then draw the pant legs.

Step 7 Draw feet at the bottom of the pant legs. Luffy is wearing flip-flops.

Step 8 This time, we draw another straw hat on top of Luffy's head.

Step 9 We have drawn Luffy. Let's finally color him with reference to the picture above!
