Smurfette is a character in the animated and film series The Smurfs, and for a long time was the only female Smurf, created by Gargamel.
Belgian cartoonist Peyo created the Smurfs in 1958. Not a single female figure existed among these three-apple-high, blue-skinned cuties with little white shoes and hats.
It was eight years before Smurfette appeared. And in the Belgian version of The Smurfs, Smurfette's role wasn't significant until the 1981 American version of The Smurfs, where Smurfette became a major character.
In case you didn't know, in the beginning Smurfette was a spy created by Gargamel to use the one and only girl to stir up discord among the Smurfs so that the Smurfs could all be captured.
For today's drawing tutorial, we are going to draw Smurfette, the only girl in the Smurf village. She looks a bit badass and seems to be stirring up trouble between the Smurfs.
We will start drawing Smurfette's hat, then her head, arms, body and legs. If you like her follow the instructions and try to draw her out. Did you know? In the end Papa Smurf uses magic to turn Smurfette into a real Smurfette, delightful and beautiful!
