Steven Universe's powers transcend many humans and Gems. When he was a child, his wit, kindness, and bravery led him to grow into a truly qualified Crystal Gems.

Steven Universe is about 14 years old, short and stocky with curly black hair, dark brown eyebrows and all black irises. When he gets excited, his pupils may sometimes turn into stars.

He often wears a pink t-shirt with a yellow star in the middle of it. He also wears blue jeans and pink flip-flops. With that gem, he can change his appearance and even control how fast he ages or grows.
